Sun, Shade, and Spring Nights in This Frisco Backyard

We built a custom shed-style patio cover with an open gable dormer, allowing natural light to pour in while still providing the shade you want as the sun starts to heat up. The design adds just the right amount of architectural character, blending seamlessly with the home while creating an open, airy feel that’s ideal for this time of year.

The patio was finished with patterned concrete, giving it a clean, durable surface with added visual texture. We installed electrical to support lighting and comfort features, making it easy to transition from sunny afternoons to relaxed evenings outside. A natural stone bar anchors the space, setting the stage for spring gatherings, weekend cookouts, and those easy nights where you don’t want to go back inside. It’s the kind of outdoor setup that makes you look forward to every bit of patio weather ahead.
